Talet is an independent app. If something is confusing or breaks, you can contact the person building it.

Requirements.

Talet is being prepared for Apple Intelligence-capable iPhones running iOS 26. The first release transcribes English and requires a one-time speech-model download.

Protecting your notes.

Talet keeps notes locally and excludes them from backups by default. Before deleting the app, replacing the phone, or erasing it, share or export anything you cannot afford to lose.

Recording other people.

Privacy from cloud processing does not remove your responsibility to obtain consent. Recording laws vary by location and situation. Tell participants and follow the rules that apply to you.
